Mill liners protect the shell and heads of a grinding mill and control how the charge is lifted. The right profile raises throughput and lowers power draw per tonne; the wrong one either slips the charge or throws it onto the shell instead of the toe of the charge.

We cast liners in Mn13Cr2 and Mn18Cr2 (work-hardening manganese steel for impact), Cr-Mo steel (a balance for shell liners) and high chrome Cr26 (maximum abrasion resistance for grates and fine chambers), from 20 kg to 6 t per piece.
