FAQ

Description

Hammer crushers reduce limestone, coal, clinker and gypsum by impact, and the hammer head is the part that takes the hit. Wear shows up first at the striking face; once the head is rounded the product size opens up and the rotor balance drifts.

Grindium casts hammers in Mn13Cr2 for high-impact limestone, in high chrome Cr26 for abrasive clinker and coal, and in a bimetal composite where a tough shank is combined with a hard wear face.

FAQs

Which hammer materials do you supply?

Mn13Cr2 for high-impact limestone, high chrome Cr26 (HRC 58-62) for abrasive clinker and coal, and a bimetal composite where a tough shank is combined with a hard wear face.

What weights and sizes?

5-120 kg per piece, 150-500 mm long, with 30-80 mm mounting holes to match your rotor.

Which crushers do you cover?

PC, PCB and PCF series hammer crushers, plus custom rotors from a drawing or a worn hammer.

What is the MOQ and lead time?

MOQ is 50 pieces or 500 kg, whichever is lower; lead time 25-35 days.

How is the rotor balance protected?

Hammers are weighed in sets before packing, so the replacement set stays within the balance tolerance of the rotor.
