The bowl liner – also called the concave ring – is the fixed wear part of a cone crusher chamber. It is replaced together with the mantle, because a new mantle against a worn bowl liner produces an out-of-shape chamber and a coarser product.
Grindium casts bowl liners in Mn13Cr2 and Mn18Cr2 for coarse, medium and fine chambers, and in high chrome Cr26 for abrasive, low-impact duty. Liners are poured against a pattern matched to the crusher model and checked on the chamber profile before shipment.
