Jaw plates are the highest-consumption wear part in a primary crushing circuit. The fixed and moving plates must be changed as a pair, and the tooth profile controls both the nip angle and the product size.
Grindium casts jaw plates in Mn13Cr2 and Mn18Cr2 for standard and heavy-duty jaws, with corrugated, smooth or toothed profiles, and in high chrome Cr26 for abrasive gravel where impact is moderate.

Why pairs matter
A worn moving plate against a new fixed plate changes the nip angle and reduces throughput, and the new plate wears faster as a result. We quote both plates as a set, with the same heat treatment and profile height, so the chamber stays symmetrical through its whole life.
